Monteur franco-brésilien basé à Paris. Diplômé en ingénierie et en cinéma, il travaille depuis 2013 en tant que chef monteur et assistant pour des films de fiction, des documentaires et des contenus pour les réseaux sociaux en France et au Brésil. Il a participé à des festivals tels que Visions du Réel, FID Marseille et le Festival de Brasília, et a monté des vidéos pour le Ballet National de Marseille ainsi que pour l'artiste Maxwell Alexandre.
Il a assisté la monteuse Valérie Pico sur le film Depuis Mediapart en 2017, et entre 2021 et 2023, il a monté les cinq derniers films de l'artiste visuelle Bárbara Marcel. Récemment, il a monté le nouveau film d'Emmanuel Grimaud, Stoned, et a assisté le monteur Gabriel Gonzalez à Paris, pour la société de production La Bête. Il travaille avec Avid, Adobe Première et Final Cut. Sa double formation en ingénierie et en cinéma lui permet de combiner rigueur technique et sensibilité artistique dans ses projets. Stoned (2025)
Entre paysages martiens, champignons poussant au cœur du désert et sites mégalithiques, le film documente les aventures d’un bioénergéticien en Arabie saoudite puis ses expériences au cœur du Massif Central, sur des anciens sites néolithiques, où ont lieu des thérapies de groupe dont le but est de se reconnecter à la Terre. Stoned explore les confins de nos propres limites, convocant l’imaginaire hallucinatoire de la science-fiction au travers d’un étrange voyage extraterrestre.

Plusieurs Manteaux to Bispo (2024)
"Dans le projet « Plusieurs manteaux to Bispo », je m’intéresse à l’histoire du Manto da Apresentação (manteau de la présentation), brodé par l’artiste afro-brésilien Bispo do Rosario (1909-1989) comme un vêtement funéraire sacré, avec lequel il devait se vêtir pour se présenter dans l’au-delà, le jour de sa mort. Contrairement à sa volonté, le manteau de Bispo est aujourd’hui exposé comme une œuvre d’art, invisibilisant complètement la volonté finale de l’artiste. Avec l’envie de m’attarder davantage sur les processus de guérison que sur les projets historiques de racialisation qui ont permis l’emprisonnement du manteau par les institutions artistiques, la question se pose : Comment réparer l’impossible ? Comment faire germer d’autres possibilités de transmutation ?

Suraras (2023)
Natalina Oliveira and Raquel Tupinambá are community broadcasters and grassroots activists from the state of Pará, in the middle of the Brazilian Amazon. They are residents of one of the oldest reservations in the region: the Resex Tapajós-Arapiuns land. Running an independent radio station, they create connections within their people and territory, but also between scientific and community knowledge. The two women are brave Amazonian guardians, known locally as Suraras. When they are invited to visit ATTO, the Amazon Tall Tower Observatory, the highest observation tower in the continent, they embark on an adventure through the rivers and the riverside communities of the largest tropical forest on the planet. Together with them, we connect with the lives, the stories, and the knowledge residing in this territory and its people. We learn about a place of plentiful biodiversity, but also of political struggle and resistance against large-scale extractivism. SURARAS is a documentary on the borders of artistic, scientific, global, and local practices.

Triangular notes to a cartography of footnotes(2022)
This is the first video of a two-channel video installation. The title fits the project as whole, - called "Footnotes to triangular cartographies" - like a piece of Tetris, an opposite-complementary. The documentary images reveal the context where the notes were made: Bahia, Brazil and sacred Yoruba cities in Nigeria.

Barbara Marcel runs a film workshop at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Kinshasa. Starting with a discussion of the film The Lion Has Seven Heads by Glauber Rocha (Congo Brazzaville, 1969), the filmmaker questions the relationship between her country, Brazil, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Marlene offers an impassioned consideration of militant filmmaking.

José Mauro is nervous about leaving his old apartment. Hilda and him will move to a place where everything will be new again, after 35 years living together. Hilda doesn`t know what to do with the objects from that house that was never hers, and from where José Mauro has not left for the past 20 years. Everything will be packed and the old mattresses thrown away.
